TL;DR
Senior Manager, Business Development (Cybersecurity): Leading and scaling the AMER BDR function to build a predictable outbound pipeline for an AI-powered autonomous pentesting platform with an accent on pipeline generation and BDR coaching. Focus on designing GTM outbound strategies, optimizing CRM processes, and scaling a high-performing sales development team in an early-stage environment.
Location: Hybrid - Must be based in Arlington, VA or the D.C. Metro area (in-office 3-5 times a week)
Compensation: $200K – $250K OTE + Equity

What you will do
- Hire, onboard, coach, and develop a high-performing BDR team as the organization scales.
- Own and drive pipeline generation for the sales organization through high-quality outbound contribution.
- Define and refine outbound strategy, including ICPs, segmentation, messaging, and campaign design.
- Partner with Sales Leadership and Marketing to align on targets, priorities, and GTM motions.
- Establish and continuously improve processes, metrics, and tooling, focusing on CRM hygiene and conversion rates.
- Translate BDR field insights into actionable improvements for positioning and GTM strategy.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing and scaling BDR/SDR teams.
- Must be located in Arlington, VA or the D.C. Metro area and willing to commute to the office.
- Experience operating in early-stage, fast-moving environments where structure is built from scratch.
- Proven ability to coach talent and a data-driven approach to outbound metrics and funnel performance.
- Confidence in engaging with technical buyers, including engineering and security stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience in B2B SaaS, specifically developer tools, security, DevOps, or infrastructure products.
- Previous experience building a BDR function at an early-stage startup.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Apollo.io, Outreach, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Interest in AI, cybersecurity, and emerging technology trends.
