What you will do

• Develop and execute multi-year fundraising strategies targeting multi-million dollar commitments from diverse sources.
• Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with high-net-worth individuals, science foundations, and government agencies.
• Secure large-scale, multi-year grants from major institutions like the Simons, Kavli, or Gates Foundations.
• Structure and negotiate complex funding agreements and create funding syndicates for shared scientific missions.
• Build and lead a professional fundraising team, including grant writers and donor relations managers.
• Align funding strategies with organizational growth objectives and scientific breakthroughs.

Requirements

• Proven success in enterprise-level sales, business development, or strategic fundraising in deep-tech or AI industries.
• Track record of closing multi-million, multi-year commitments with urgency and persistence.
• Strong existing network of funders, science philanthropists, and AI/physics research investors.
• Experience fundraising for scientific institutions, AI research labs, or breakthrough technology initiatives.
• Familiarity with the AI funding landscape and research institutions.
• Demonstrated passion for physics and making scientific knowledge impactful.
