What you will do

• Build and maintain components, tools, and automation within infrastructure platform using Python and AWS services
• Write tested, maintainable code following engineering standards and passing CI/CD gates
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in team systems, researching root causes
• Contribute to system design discussions and identify risks
• Automate manual processes and improve monitoring and alerting
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipeline components for reliable deployments
• Participate in on-call rotations to diagnose operational issues
• Write documentation for systems and improve knowledge bases

Requirements

• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
• Experience with Linux systems administration
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
• Experience building or maintaining software components professionally
• Understanding of version control (Git) and CI/CD concepts

Nice to have

• Experience in AWS services
• Experience troubleshooting technical systems or networking administration
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Python in infrastructure automation
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code or configuration management tools
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, OpenSearch, Grafana)
