What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and near real-time data pipelines across ingestion, transformation, and serving layers.
• Develop reusable data models, optimise performance, reliability, and cost of data infrastructure.
• Shape the data platform with best practices in architecture, tooling, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
• Implement data validation, testing, lineage, observability, and governance for trusted datasets.
• Partner with Data Science, MLOps, Product, and commercial teams to deliver production-ready solutions.
• Mentor others and communicate technical decisions to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong Python and SQL skills with experience building production-grade data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with modern data tools like Snowflake, Airflow, dbt, and cloud environments (preferably AWS).
• Knowledge of CI/CD, testing, version control, and infrastructure as code.
• Understanding of data quality, governance, observability, and reliable data systems.
• Ability to translate business and data science needs into scalable solutions and communicate with stakeholders.
