About the Role
You will design and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure (primarily on AWS) for production and staging environments. You will build and improve CI/CD pipelines, implement and manage observability (logging, metrics, tracing), and enhance infrastructure-as-code using AWS CDK. You will operate containers with Docker and orchestration platforms, monitor and improve system availability, performance, and cost efficiency, collaborate with engineers to streamline development workflows and deployment strategies, and champion DevOps best practices across the company.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a DevOps SRE or infrastructure-focused engineering role
- Strong experience with AWS services including EC2 ECS RDS S3 IAM and Cognito
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code, especially AWS CDK (Terraform or similar a plus)
- Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration (ECS EKS or Kubernetes)
- Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus Grafana CloudWatch Sentry and DataDog
- A security-first mindset when designing and managing infrastructure
- Nice to have: experience in regulated or high-trust environments
- Nice to have: knowledge of zero-downtime deployment patterns and rollback strategies
- Nice to have: exposure to Next.js Node.js or React from an ops perspective
- Nice to have: understanding of secrets management and zero-trust networking
