Senior Benefits Analyst (Automotive)

What you will do

• Design and administer health and welfare plans, including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance.
• Manage employee and HR inquiries, resolving issues and identifying patterns for process improvement.
• Act as a SAP key business user for benefit info types, creating and analyzing program reports.
• Lead the annual open enrollment process and create related employee communications and newsletters.
• Monitor plan cost development and research high-cost scenarios to determine root causes.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, and ACA.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7+ years of previous or related experience in benefits administration.
• Advanced computer skills, specifically in MS Excel.
• Experience with HRIS systems; SAP experience is strongly preferred.
• Broad understanding of US federal, state, and local employment laws.

Nice to have

• Professional background in human resources consulting or insurance.
• CEBS, PHR, or SHRM-CP certification.
