What you will do
- Design and administer health and welfare plans, including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance.
- Manage employee and HR inquiries, resolving issues and identifying patterns for process improvement.
- Act as a SAP key business user for benefit info types, creating and analyzing program reports.
- Lead the annual open enrollment process and create related employee communications and newsletters.
- Monitor plan cost development and research high-cost scenarios to determine root causes.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, and ACA.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of previous or related experience in benefits administration.
- Advanced computer skills, specifically in MS Excel.
- Experience with HRIS systems; SAP experience is strongly preferred.
- Broad understanding of US federal, state, and local employment laws.
Nice to have
- Professional background in human resources consulting or insurance.
- CEBS, PHR, or SHRM-CP certification.
