Trainer and Consultant (PED)

Location: Remote inside the UK; Birmingham, GB. Travel and time away from home may be required, including face-to-face course delivery.

What you will do

• Deliver public and in-house training courses in face-to-face and virtual formats.
• Design tailored training programmes, course materials, and event content based on client needs.
• Deliver advisory assignments such as second-party audits, coaching sessions, and gap analyses.
• Adapt training techniques to different learning styles and delegate requirements.
• Identify additional client needs and promote relevant higher-value services.
• Share client feedback and insights with appropriate internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Required expertise in the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED).
• Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject and a recognised qualification in training delivery.
• Experience with a wide range of training and learning styles, techniques, and methods.
• Demonstrated competency in both face-to-face and virtual training.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Zoom.
• Availability to travel and spend time away from home when required.

Nice to have

• Experience with ASME, ISO 3834, EN 1090, or ISO 19443.
• Train the Trainer certificate.
