Payroll and Training Capability Lead (Ireland)

What you will do

• Design and deliver structured onboarding programmes, training initiatives, and learning journeys for new and existing employees.
• Conduct skills gap analyses using performance data, KPIs, audits, and business needs.
• Drive IPASS certification and legislative training across the payroll team.
• Own and continuously improve the training curriculum, skills matrix, and capability framework.
• Support payroll transitions, new client and payroll onboarding, and targeted interventions addressing quality and error trends.
• Use data and audit findings to improve payroll accuracy, compliance, and performance.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of Irish payroll legislation and end-to-end payroll processing.
• Strong instructional design, facilitation, coaching, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Higher School Certificate or equivalent.
• Irish Payroll Technician Certification and Train-the-Trainer certification.
• 5–8+ years of relevant experience, including payroll operations and process training.
• Structured, proactive, detail-oriented approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
