Software Engineer (AI/LLM)

Location: Remote from Austria, Brazil, Denmark, Greece, Ireland, Malta, Argentina, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, or the US East Coast

Compensation: $100,000–$350,000 annually, plus equity.

hirify.global is building an AI-powered offensive security platform that autonomously discovers, validates, and exploits software vulnerabilities with proof-backed results.

What you will do

• Design prompt flows and LLM orchestrations for software that performs reliably with minimal false positives.
• Architect and build production-grade, testable, and maintainable AI-powered software in TypeScript.
• Develop experiments and evaluation frameworks for testing system performance at scale and analyze the resulting data.
• Collaborate with AI, engineering, frontend, backend, and security specialists to deliver end-to-end systems.
• Own projects from ideation and experimentation through deployment and production monitoring.
• Research advances in LLMs and apply them to improve system intelligence and speed.

Requirements

• Strong experience building software around LLMs, including prompting, agentic orchestration, fault tolerance, and integration with hard-coded logic.
• Strong software engineering skills for architecting reliable, maintainable production systems.
• Experience with TypeScript or the ability to quickly learn a new programming language.
• Structured, independent problem-solving skills and comfort working with incomplete information.
• Master’s degree or equivalent or higher in computer science, mathematics, physics, or machine learning.
• Curiosity, adaptability, collaboration, and willingness to own projects in a fast-moving research environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in offensive security or applying LLMs in a security context.
• Open-source contributions involving LLM applications or frameworks.
• Strong theoretical background, such as a PhD in machine learning, computer science, or mathematics.
• Startup experience and comfort with ambiguity.

• Two- to three-hour technical deep dive based on a relevant case study, followed by a 30-minute final meeting with the assigned Engineering Lead.
