Applied AI Architect, Public Sector

Location: San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY; hybrid policy requires staff to work from an office at least 25% of the time

Annual compensation: $240,000–$315,000 USD OTE, including base salary and target sales commissions or bonuses

What you will do

• Partner with account executives to understand customer requirements and translate business objectives into technical solutions.
• Advise enterprise, government, systems integrator, startup, and GovTech customers throughout discovery, evaluation, and deployment.
• Support implementations using Claude Code, the Claude API, and Claude for Enterprise.
• Design scalable cloud architectures and guide integration with existing enterprise technology stacks.
• Create technical content for engineering, development, business, and executive audiences.
• Develop evaluation frameworks, identify integration patterns, collaborate with Product and Engineering, and travel frequently to customer sites.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Technical Account Manager.
• Experience designing scalable cloud architectures and integrating enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with Python and common LLM frameworks and tools, or a background in machine learning or data science.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to C-suite executives, engineering and IT teams, and other stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience in a relevant field.
• US Secret Clearance is preferred for work with defense technology customers; prior government, government contracting, or government technology experience is preferred.
