What you will do

• Conduct assessments against FSSC22000, ISO9001, and additional 2nd party addendums.
• Recommend certification decisions based on audit outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with external and internal clients.
• Produce accurate, insightful reports meeting technical review expectations.
• Audit various food sectors including perishable fresh food, confectionary, beverages, and thermal processing.

Requirements

• Residence in Canada, USA, or Mexico with extensive North America travel ability.
• GFSI Lead Auditor certification (FSSC, SQF, BRCGS, or ISO9001).
• Experience in third-party auditing to ISO22000/FSSC22000, ISO9001, or other GFSI standards.
• Minimum 3 years full-time in food-chain industry, including 2 years in quality assurance or food safety in manufacturing.
• Degree or equivalent in relevant subject (microbiology, chemistry, food science).
• Excellent communication skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, client service focus.
