What you will do

• Own strategy for plant connectivity, secure remote access, and OTA update deployment processes.
• Lead design and operation of highly available data infrastructure with time-series databases and streaming solutions.
• Drive development of central services, libraries, and monitoring for field-level integration.
• Lead and mentor software developers, shape technical roadmap, and prioritize requirements as interface between operations, engineering, and data science.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• Several years of hands-on software development with hardware integration, ideally in energy or Industrial IoT.
• Experience leading development teams technically, agile/SCRUM project management, and requirements engineering.
• Skilled in Python, C#, or Rust; experience with PLC systems like Beckhoff TwinCAT.
• English fluent (C1); German minimum B1.
