What you will do

• Act as the technical and costing reference for engineering, sourcing, and suppliers regarding manufacturability and cost trade-offs.
• Drive Cost of Goods (COGS) reduction by influencing design choices related to production scalability and cost structure.
• Define early-stage manufacturing process flows to support fact-based product cost calculations.
• Create transparency in costing by challenging assumptions and validating supplier inputs.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities through in-depth assessment of factory standard costs and supply chain simulations.
• Collaborate with Development, Engineering, and Sourcing to align technical feasibility with commercial strategy.

Requirements

• Master's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in CNC machining, welding, additive manufacturing, and precision mechanics.
• Direct industrial engineering experience within an operational environment.
• Proven ability to explain technical manufacturing choices and cost drivers to non-manufacturing stakeholders.
• Experience analyzing and reporting cost drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• English: Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
