What you will do

• Leverage cutting-edge AI tools to generate product concepts and translate them into functional 3D models.
• Develop physical prototypes using 3D printing and CNC to test complex, optimized structures.
• Implement AI-driven surrogate models to predict FEA/CFD results and reduce iteration times.
• Define the future mechanical engineering workflow by integrating LLMs and generative design.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to validate the feasibility of AI-driven mechanical solutions.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Product Design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or Rhino.
• Proven experience in robotics, drones, or DIY projects (The Maker Spirit).
• Active interest in AI tools (Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, LLMs) or Python scripting for automation.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of finding creative workarounds for technical hurdles.
