Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer (Voice AI): Driving technical pre-sales engagements for real-time speech-to-text APIs and voice agents with an accent on architecting custom proof-of-concepts, API integrations, and performance optimization. Location: USA only, must be based within Eastern or Pacific Time zones. Anchored in San Francisco office with remote-first hybrid work (mix of in-person and remote). Up to 50% travel required.
Salary: $165K – $220K • Offers Equity • Offers Bonus

What you will do
- Lead technical discovery and solution design for enterprise prospects.
- Architect and implement custom proof-of-concepts and technical demonstrations for customer use cases.
- Provide guidance on API integration, performance optimization, and deployment strategies.
- Partner with sales to address technical objections and accelerate sales cycles.
- Contribute to technical content like implementation guides and reference architectures.
- Mentor juniors and represent customer voice to product/engineering teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years in technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, or customer-facing technical roles
- Strong software engineering background with experience in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar.
- Proven track record navigating complex technical sales cycles.
- Experience building and demonstrating proof-of-concepts to diverse audiences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with speech recognition, NLP, AI/voice agents.
- Building customer-facing demos and sample code.
- Knowledge of AWS, GCP, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Experience with API-first products and developer tools.
- Sales methodologies like MEDDIC or Solution Selling.
