Salary: $150,000 - $215,000

What you will do

• Lead and grow a team of engineers responsible for translation pipelines, language services, and localization frameworks.
• Own the execution and delivery of the Translations Platform roadmap, including RTL support and developer tooling.
• Drive improvements to translation workflows to reduce manual processes and operational friction.
• Partner with Product, Design, QA, and Marketing to ensure high-quality localized member experiences.
• Oversee the integration and evolution of translation vendors, APIs, and AI-based translation workflows.
• Establish strong operational practices for monitoring and maintaining translation accuracy across all services.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing software engineers in a platform or infrastructure-focused environment.
• Strong technical background in distributed systems, APIs, and backend services.
• Experience delivering complex, cross-functional systems spanning mobile, web, and backend.
• Must be prepared to relocate to the Boston, MA office.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with translation platforms such as Smartling or AI-based translation systems.
• Knowledge of mobile and frontend localization challenges (iOS, Android, web).
• Experience building or scaling internal platforms that support global product expansion.
