Salary: $200,000 - $260,000 USD

What you will do
- Lead and develop a team of engineers across shared platform and forward-deployed tracks.
- Define and execute the technical strategy for compute, networking, observability, and CI/CD.
- Manage operational logistics, including staffing, capacity planning, and incident response.
- Own the production reliability of institutional-grade systems.
- Lead technical execution of client engagements and interface with tier-1 institutional clients.
- Determine the balance between generalized platform capabilities and bespoke engagement code.
Requirements
- Track record leading platform or infrastructure teams in production-critical environments (e.g., financial infrastructure, custody, or payments).
- Experience managing small, high-performing senior engineering teams.
- Strong operational expertise in managing concurrent workstreams and incident response.
- Deep technical proficiency in architecture review and system design.
- Experience with forward-deployed or solutions-engineering models.
- Must be based in New York, NY.
Nice to have
- Blockchain or protocol experience (staking, validators, MPC, DeFi).
- Experience with HSMs, threshold signing, or secure enclaves.
- Background working with tier-1 financial institutions.
- Experience scaling a forward-deployed engineering function from early stage.
