Salary: $183,500 - $232,500

What you will do

• Lead the Insights team in developing complex data products that provide actionable, recommendation-driven insights to customers.
• Own critical core services including Identity, Permissions, and Multi-tenancy to ensure platform high-resiliency.
• Drive an AI-first engineering strategy, implementing Generative AI to accelerate team velocity and SDLC productivity.
• Mentor senior engineers and Tech Leads to foster leadership, ownership, and technical craftsmanship.
• Translate business strategy into clear roadmaps, managing dependencies and driving measurable outcomes.
• Optimize system scalability, observability, incident response, and cost-performance metrics.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience building scalable distributed systems.
• 5+ years of experience managing teams and growing senior-level talent.
• Proven success with cloud-native microservices and granular, multi-tenant permission models.
• Strong perspective on leveraging Generative AI to eliminate engineering and product inefficiencies.
• Experience reviewing and guiding technical work across the full stack, from UI flows to API contracts.
• Must be able to work onsite in San Diego, CA.

Nice to have

• Deep knowledge of the AWS ecosystem, C#/.NET, and Kubernetes.
• Experience managing zero-failure services with high availability requirements.
