What you will do

• Manage a team of 8-10 controls engineers through the execution of electric powertrain design and development.
• Develop multi-generational product plans (MGPP) for modular and scalable control features.
• Lead controls development (design, simulation, validation) across NTI, NPI, and CPI program phases.
• Provide technical leadership for the integration of electric power sources (batteries, chargers) and drivetrains (inverters, motors).
• Define and optimize controls development processes for efficient workflow and requirements verification.
• Translate customer requirements into concept designs and collaborate with global process partners.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience in tactical, strategic, and operational planning.
• Strong expertise in decision-making processes and critical thinking.
• Technical excellence in controls engineering and solving significant technical challenges.
• Proven experience in managing people, performance, and workplace conflicts.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to Mossville, IL; sponsorship is not available.
