What you will do
- Manage a team of 8-10 controls engineers focusing on power conversion design and development.
- Develop and manage multi-generational product plans (MGPP) for modular and scalable control features.
- Lead the controls development execution (design, simulation, and validation) through NTI, NPI, and CPI program phases.
- Provide technical leadership for chargers, power conversion systems, and microgrid content.
- Define and manage controls development processes to optimize workflow and ensure high-quality delivery.
- Translate direct customer requirements into concept designs that exceed expectations.
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering or a related curriculum.
- Extensive experience in tactical and strategic planning (1-5 year horizons).
- Strong background in technical decision-making and critical thinking for complex engineering challenges.
- Proven ability to lead successful teams and manage performance and workplace conflicts.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and commercial domains.
- Must be based in the US or eligible for domestic relocation; no sponsorship provided.
