What you will do

• Lead scientific research to enable the manufacture of innovative device architectures.
• Design, execute, and analyze experiments to meet engineering specifications for process development.
• Integrate individual fabrication steps required for the manufacture of complex microprocessors.
• Ramp technology to manufacturing volumes and transfer it using the Copy Exactly Methodology.
• Contribute to the development of hirify.globallectual property.

Requirements

• Ph.D. degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• Experience in semiconductor processing, fabrication, or nanotechnology (DOE, SPC).
• Must be based in or able to work in Hillsboro, Oregon (Hybrid).
• 7+ years of professional software development experience with strong expertise in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of modern semiconductor manufacturing processes and lithography equipment automation.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of experience in Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS) or Factory Engineering.
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting products.
• Knowledge of DFM, DOE, and FMEA.
• Proficiency with statistical tools such as JMP or Excel Pivot Tables.
• Experience with Project Management techniques and tools.
