What you will do
- Lead scientific research to enable the manufacture of innovative device architectures.
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments to meet engineering specifications for process development.
- Integrate individual fabrication steps required for the manufacture of complex microprocessors.
- Ramp technology to manufacturing volumes and transfer it using the Copy Exactly Methodology.
- Contribute to the development of lectual property.
Requirements
- Ph.D. degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Experience in semiconductor processing, fabrication, or nanotechnology (DOE, SPC).
- Must be based in or able to work in Hillsboro, Oregon (Hybrid).
- 7+ years of professional software development experience with strong expertise in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of modern semiconductor manufacturing processes and lithography equipment automation.
Nice to have
- 3+ years of experience in Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS) or Factory Engineering.
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting products.
- Knowledge of DFM, DOE, and FMEA.
- Proficiency with statistical tools such as JMP or Excel Pivot Tables.
- Experience with Project Management techniques and tools.
