What you will do

• Design production system architecture, including process flow, work cell layout, and material flow.
• Develop and own the integrated factory plan, covering equipment, facility requirements, and staffing.
• Build data-driven capacity models to guide equipment procurement and hiring decisions.
• Lead facility planning and activation, coordinating floor layouts and utility requirements.
• Drive equipment procurement and commissioning through vendor evaluation and qualification.
• Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) and define make/buy strategies for product processes.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing operations or industrial engineering with progressive responsibility.
• Experience in factory planning, including layouts and facility activation schedules.
• Proven ability in equipment commissioning and designing production systems.
• Expertise in NPI and transitioning products from engineering to production.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, U.S. permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status (Export Control).

Nice to have

• Experience in greenfield or brownfield facility activation.
• Background in aerospace or precision industrial hardware manufacturing.
• Lean/Six Sigma certification or experience in operational excellence.
• Proficiency with CAD software (Creo or CATIA V5).
• Familiarity with MES/ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
