What you will do

• Perform detailed contract analysis for non-standard arrangements to determine revenue recognition under ASC 606.
• Lead month-end close activities, journal entries, and reconciliations for revenue, deferred revenue, and commissions.
• Own accounting for cloud hosting costs and professional services labor allocations to ensure accurate margin reporting.
• Partner with Sales, Legal, and Deal Desk teams to ensure bookings and revenue align with company policies.
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives to streamline and automate revenue accounting within NetSuite and Salesforce.
• Prepare year-end disclosures and lead the response for areas of audit responsibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting or corporate revenue accounting.
• Proven experience in a fast-paced SaaS technology business.
• Deep knowledge of ASC 606 and ASC 340 revenue recognition standards.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with NetSuite ARM and Salesforce CPQ.
• Strong communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
