What you will do

  • Manage a portfolio of target NHS organizations, identifying new business and expansion opportunities across acute, mental health, and ICB levels.
  • Conduct discovery sessions focused on diagnosing adoption challenges and their associated costs.
  • Co-author quantified business cases and investment proposals with customer leadership using NHS-specific ROI metrics.
  • Deliver high-impact presentations to senior clinical and digital leadership.
  • Own the end-to-end deal process from the first conversation to the signed contract.
  • Develop strategic partner relationships with healthcare IT consultancies and implementation firms.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in or with the NHS (clinical informatics, digital transformation, EPR programme management, or healthcare IT consulting).
  • Deep understanding of NHS structure, procurement, and funding cycles.
  • Proven experience with EPR implementations or NHS clinical systems.
  • Established credibility and active relationships with senior NHS stakeholders.
  • Expertise in building and presenting business cases to executive leadership.
  • Strong commercial instinct and ability to drive revenue through domain expertise.

Nice to have

  • Direct experience in NHS digital or clinical leadership roles.
  • Existing network of digital leaders across multiple trusts or ICSs.
  • Familiarity with NHS procurement routes such as G-Cloud, frameworks, and FBC/OBC processes.
  • Background at a healthcare-focused consultancy or advisory firm.
