What you will do

• Monitor live streams to ensure optimal audio, video, and closed captioning quality.
• Switch contribution feeds and manage commercial playout playlists for live events.
• Perform system testing and signal check-ins prior to live air dates.
• Execute manual failovers and troubleshoot technical issues in real-time.
• Operate broadcast equipment and document on-air discrepancies.
• Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to promptly recover from technical failures.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in broadcast operations and a 4-year degree (or equivalent additional experience).
• General experience with broadcast routers, video/audio monitoring, and playout/ad insertion technology.
• Ability to read scopes and a basic understanding of streaming systems.
• Schedule flexibility to work late nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong English communication skills; Spanish or French skills are beneficial.
• Ability to remain calm and focused under the pressure of live television.
