What you will do

• Provide global support via Slack, Jira, and other systems, including on-call shifts (nights, weekends, holidays).
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve outages.
• Create and update training documentation, tutorials, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Monitor and report on the performance of production deployments.
• Collaborate with Broadcast Engineers on control systems, technical workflows, and signal flow in OB and IP facilities.
• Oversee software deployments, including design, commissioning, and training.

Requirements

• 6+ years in a broadcast production environment.
• Familiarity with SMPTE-2110 and advanced broadcast control systems (e.g., Magnum, VSM, Orbit, Cerebrum, TFC).
• Technical or associate degree in computer science or electronics (or equivalent experience).
• Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, multicast protocols.
• Experience with virtualized and/or containerized computing (VMware, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong communication, problem solving, and time management skills.

Nice to have

• Cisco CCNA/CCNP or Arista ACE-L2 certification.
• Experience with Golang, JavaScript, Python, Bash scripting, or other programming language.
