Technical Program Manager (Jira/Jellyfish)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain complex Jira workflows, permission schemes, and automation rules at scale across 20+ squads.
• Orchestrate Jellyfish by mapping Jira signals to allocation buckets for accurate investment distribution insights.
• Leverage AI tools like Atlassian Intelligence for natural language querying, impact analysis, workflow automation, and synthetic executive reports.
• Monitor DORA and flow metrics to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Partner with Finance for capitalization reporting using Jellyfish data.
• Engage stakeholders to triage requirements and ensure seamless tool rollouts.

Requirements

• 5+ years in Engineering Operations, Program Management, or similar data-heavy engineering role.
• Expert-level Jira Cloud administration, including advanced automation and JQL.
• Power user proficiency in Jellyfish.
• Deep understanding of Agile metrics, engineering investment categories, and DORA metrics.
• Foundational knowledge of SDLC, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies.
• Comfortable leveraging AI agents and LLMs for data analysis and scripting.

Nice to have

• Ability to write basic Python or JavaScript for API integrations.
• Experience with GitHub and AWS.
