What you will do

• Drive the ML data flywheel, orchestrating end-to-end lifecycle from data mining to model evaluation.
• Develop labeling policies and taxonomies for complex AV scenarios like behavior prediction and edge cases.
• Design ML evaluation frameworks and metrics to track data-centric model performance.
• Lead cross-functional coordination with ML teams, ensuring alignment on objectives and resource needs.
• Influence data selection strategies like active learning and hard-mining for high-impact labeling.

Requirements

• 8+ years in data analysis, identifying trends and drawing insights from quantitative/qualitative data.
• Deep knowledge of ML data lifecycle: labeling, taxonomy design, quality control, curation.
• Experience with ML development lifecycle (model deployment, evaluation, data processing, fine-tuning).
• Background leading complex cross-org programs in ML data annotation or Human-in-the-Loop.
• Strong cross-functional communication, including dashboards and analytical write-ups.
• Comfort with ambiguity, quick learning, and understanding of driving rules/regulations.

Nice to have

• Scripting languages, ML tools, prompt engineering, fine-tuning LLMs.
• Applying ML to high-volume product data.
• Collaborating with engineering stakeholders on requirements and model improvements.
