Silicon Design Infrastructure Lead (EDA/ASIC): Establish and maintain complete RTL-to-GDSII design flow for revolutionary space-based communications network with an accent on EDA tools, PDKs, automation scripts, and compute infrastructure. Salary: $230,773 - $323,082 (CA/WA applicants)

What you will do

• Establish and maintain RTL-to-GDSII design flow for ASIC development
• Select, install, and configure EDA tools across the design process
• Develop design databases, PDKs, reference flows, and automation scripts
• Implement compute infrastructure, license servers, version control, and CI systems
• Collaborate with foundry partners and support engineering teams with CAD issues
• Monitor resources, document flows, and provide training

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 10+ years in CAD/EDA, including 2+ years in management
• Expertise with industry-standard EDA tools for digital design
• Experience with PDK integration/validation, scripting (Perl, Python, Tcl, shell)
• Knowledge of compute infrastructure, version control, and build systems for hardware design
• U.S. citizen/national, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee

Nice to have

• M.S. in relevant engineering discipline
• Experience with advanced nodes (7nm or below), HPC, cloud EDA
• Background in mixed-signal/RF flows, DevOps for hardware, workflow automation
