What you will do

• Manage high-priority customer escalations and serve as the senior technical point-of-contact.
• Lead benchmark strategies for advanced technology nodes (7nm, 5nm, 3nm) focusing on PPA and runtime performance.
• Collaborate with R&D architects to identify product gaps and validate new feature releases.
• Develop reference methodologies and best-practice flows for hierarchical and flat design implementation.
• Mentor engineering staff and provide technical guidance on complex implementation challenges.
• Drive automation initiatives using Tcl, Perl, and Python to build scalable infrastructure.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of hands-on experience in ASIC physical design or EDA product engineering.
• Expert-level proficiency in the full RTL-to-GDSII flow and static timing analysis.
• Deep experience with hirify.global Innovus, Tempus, and Genus solutions.
• Proven track record of timing closure and PPA optimization at 16nm and below.
• Advanced scripting skills in Tcl, Perl, Python, and Shell.
• Strong communication skills for presenting to executive stakeholders and R&D partners.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global Joules, Voltus, or Pegasus tools.
• Knowledge of advanced routing constraints like SADP or EUV design rules.
• Familiarity with automotive (ISO 26262), AI/ML accelerators, or HPC domains.
• Prior experience in an R&D role at an EDA or semiconductor company.
