What you will do

• Lead and mentor physical design engineers across full project lifecycle
• Define PD architecture, chip floorplans, timing budgets, power estimates, and pin planning in collaboration with architects
• Develop SDC constraints and drive RTL-to-netlist activities including synthesis, LEC, CDC, and STA
• Support hands-on P&R for critical blocks and collaborate with backend PD house for execution and issue resolution
• Integrate complex IP like PCIe, DDR5/DDR6, UFS, and SerDes
• Ensure robust signoff closure and maintain PD tool flows and automation

Requirements

• 10+ years hands-on ASIC physical design experience, including leadership of large/complex PD projects
• Proven experience at advanced nodes (16nm and below)
• Deep expertise in RTL-to-GDSII flows, timing closure, STA, and constraints development
• Experience integrating high-speed/complex IP (PCIe, DDR5/DDR6, UFS, SerDes)
• Proficiency with EDA tools (Cadence preferred), scripting (Tcl, Python, Make)
• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; strong technical leadership and communication skills
