What you will do
- Direct rocket vehicle integration activities to optimize manufacturing flow from start to finish.
- Coordinate day-to-day activities between design, manufacturing, test engineering, and supply chain teams.
- Make informed decisions regarding build sequences and schedules to meet project timelines.
- Triage off-nominal and discrepant situations to provide engineering direction for production.
- Manage risks, recovery planning, and continuous improvement of execution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver verification artifacts for operational service transfer.
Requirements
- B.S. degree in aerospace, mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering, physics, or related engineering field.
- 3-5 years of experience in designing or supporting complex engineered products.
- 1+ years of project management or system integration experience.
- Proficiency in logic-linked scheduling, budget tracking, and schedule variance reporting.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or granted asylum.
Nice to have
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM), risk, configuration, or requirements management.
- Background in Manufacturing or Production Engineering within vehicle integration and test.
- Experience with human spaceflight or high-performance systems.
