What you will do
- Develop and implement division-wide program management strategy, including functional strategies, reporting structures, and best-practice frameworks aligned with industry standards.
- Lead and build program management capability across multiple Space Business Units, mentoring senior PM leadership and creating performance metrics and dashboards.
- Strengthen program performance by reviewing underperforming programs, establishing baselines, and overseeing recovery execution to meet cost, schedule, and margin targets.
- Champion collaboration across functional and business unit teams to unify PM governance, communication, and execution practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Science (MBA preferred)
- At least 15 years of program management experience with demonstrated leadership capability
- Proven ability to develop functional strategies, establish best practices, and implement large-scale processes
- Experience leading in a matrixed organization with strong collaboration and influence skills
- PMP certification and competency with industry standards for government and commercial contract types
- Demonstrated success managing customers at the executive level
- Prior experience in Aerospace & Defense or other highly regulated industries preferred
