What you will do

• Manage electronic faxes, processing incoming and outgoing medical communications
• Craft and send physical therapy prescription order requests
• Enter patient demographics and vital information into Word documents
• Upload and organize patient documents in the EMR system
• Answer phone calls and handle patient inquiries with exceptional customer service
• Perform daily EMR tasks and collaborate with the physical therapy team
• Adapt to additional administrative duties as the practice grows

Requirements

• Proven experience in medical administration or as a medical assistant
• Proficiency in electronic fax systems, word processing, and quick learning of new technologies
• Exceptional attention to detail in data entry and document management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Solid understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and align with US Eastern Time Zone
