What you will do

• Perform clinical checks of cardiopulmonary rehabilitation patients, including comprehensive past medical history reviews.
• Identify contraindications to exercise and rehabilitation participation using hirify.global protocols.
• Review cardiac and pulmonary medications, support medication reconciliation, and identify safety risks.
• Collect, organize, and accurately enter patient information, demographics, medical histories, and treatment plans into EMR systems.
• Maintain confidential medical records, index and cross-reference files, and respond to healthcare provider inquiries.
• Provide administrative support and collaborate with the founders and clinical team to improve digital care delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science.
• At least two years of experience in a medical office setting, preferably in cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation.
• Proficiency with medical records systems and software.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical record documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, organization, problem-solving, and communication.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy requirements.

Nice to have

• Two or more years of experience in a similar role.
• Remote work experience.
• ACSM Clinical Exercise Physiologist Certification.
• AACVPR CCRP certification.
• Registered Health Information Technician certification or a similar credential.
