What you will do

• Ensure privacy and accuracy of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain and organize medical records, including PMH reviews to identify contraindications for rehab programs.
• Conduct medication reconciliation and risk assessments for safe exercise participation.
• Input and update patient data into EMR systems, responding to provider inquiries.
• Index files and provide administrative support to clinical team and founders.
• Collaborate on innovating digital care delivery models.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science.
• Minimum 2 years experience in medical office, preferably cardiac/pulmonary rehab.
• Proficiency with medical records systems and software.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA, and patient privacy.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail in data entry and record management.

Nice to have

• 2+ years in similar role or remote work experience.
• ACSM Clinical Exercise Physiologist, AACVPR CCRP, or RHIT certification.
