What you will do

• Conduct thorough Past Medical History (PMH) reviews to identify contraindications to exercise based on clinical protocols.
• Manage and convert patient data from healthcare providers into EMR systems for Chronic Care Management programs.
• Perform medication reconciliation using knowledge of cardiac and pulmonary medications to identify safety risks.
• Maintain medical records in strict compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring privacy and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with founders and clinical teams to innovate and improve the digital care delivery model.
• Facilitate safe patient care through professional communication between patients and physician offices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical office setting, preferably in cardiac and pulmonary rehab.
• Proficiency with medical records systems and software.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and record documentation.
• Deep familiarity with HIPAA regulations.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• ACSM Clinical Exercise Physiologist Certification.
• AACVPR CCRP certification.
• Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or similar credential.
• Previous remote work experience.
• More than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
