What you will do

• Lead production operations, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Supervise team leads, production associates, and support staff.
• Monitor and adjust production plans with Planning, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Identify bottlenecks, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing to improve flow, reduce waste, and increase throughput.
• Support training, audits, and continuous improvement events like Kaizen and 5S.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related.
• 3–7 years in aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing; 1–2 years supervisory.
• Working knowledge of Lean tools (value stream mapping, standard work, 5S).
• Familiarity with AS9100, ITAR, and aerospace/defense standards.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Epicor).

Nice to have

• Hands-on leadership focused on team development.
• Experience in low-volume/high-mix or complex aerospace assembly.
• Lean or Six Sigma certification.
