Accounts Apprentice (Finance)

TL;DR

Accounts Apprentice (Finance): Working across finance department areas including credit control, e-commerce ledger reconciliation, purchase ledger, vendor invoice processing and supporting management accounts with an accent on accuracy, three-way matching and stakeholder communication. Focus on completing AAT studies, payment allocation, ad-hoc financial reporting and business performance analysis.

Location: Manchester office in Trafford Park with flexible working including 15 days WFH per year

What you will do

• Complete AAT studies to gain accountancy skills.
• Process supplier invoices with three-way matching against orders and receipts, liaising with supply chain stakeholders.
• Match and allocate payments from e-commerce channels to invoices.
• Assist finance manager and director with financial, commercial and operational reports, trackers and improvement projects.

Requirements

• AAT student or willing to start AAT studies.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication skills and helpful attitude.
• Willingness to learn.
