Location: London (Hybrid: at least 3 days from HQ, specifically Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday)

What you will do

• Prepare monthly management accounts and consolidated group reporting across multiple entities.
• Manage revenue accounting, reconcile large data sets, and resolve funding discrepancies.
• Ensure financial records align with OfS inspection requirements and provide evidence during audits.
• Support budget preparation and provide insights on historic trends and future income expectations.
• Implement robust internal financial controls across all sites to mitigate risk and ensure ESFA audit readiness.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualification (qualified or part-qualified).
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and HMRC regulations.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
• 3–5+ years of experience in finance/accounting, preferably within education or government-funded programmes.
