What you will do

• Inspect incoming raw materials and components against drawings and specifications using AQL-based sampling plans.
• Conduct in-process inspections for fabrication, welding, surface treatment, and assembly.
• Perform final outgoing quality checks on finished assemblies before shipment to ensure they meet all criteria.
• Support First Article Inspections (FAI) by recording measurements and compiling data packages.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and log non-conformances in the quality tracking system.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineers and production operators to flag and resolve defects in real time.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing quality, inspection, or production.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and dimensional tolerances.
• Hands-on experience with basic measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Long Beach, CA.
• Fluent English proficiency for quality reporting and communication.
• Disciplined approach to data entry and paperwork.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Experience in electrical, metal fabrication, bus bars, or panel assembly manufacturing.
• Exposure to FAI processes, control plans, or quality management systems.
• Basic understanding of GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing).
