Quality Technician (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite at the Centennial, Colorado facility; U.S. citizenship is required because the role requires obtaining and maintaining a U.S. government security clearance.

Salary: $30.00–$36.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform visual and mechanical inspections using calipers, micrometers, bore gages, height gages, profilometers, optical comparators, CMMs, and GOM scanners.
• Measure components against engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, and industry specifications.
• Develop inspection processes and create measurement programs using PC-DMIS, Calypso, and related tooling software.
• Collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing Engineering to resolve issues during product realization.
• Maintain quality records, calibration documentation, KPI tracking, document control, and customer data or Certificate of Conformance packets.
• Record non-conformances and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a quality role within an ISO 9001 manufacturing and inspection environment.
• Experience writing programs and operating CMM equipment.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and interpreting GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Experience developing quality procedures and work instructions and using precision measurement tools.
• Strong formal written and verbal communication skills, including communication with customers and suppliers and conducting presentations.
• Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Nice to have

• Experience in AS9100 manufacturing and inspection, additive manufacturing, machine operations, Keyence machines, auditing, Calypso, or PC-DMIS.
