TL;DR

Principal Product Manager (Data Products): Lead the strategy and development of behavioural data products across web, mobile, and TV platforms with an accent on improving data capture, structuring, and usability. Focus on driving execution across multiple teams to ensure reliable, trusted data for product decisions and insights.

Location: Hybrid in Newcastle, Salford, or Glasgow (minimum 1 day office per week). Flexible working discussions at offer stage.

Salary: £85,000 - £100,000 depending on skills and experience.

What you will do

  • Lead strategy for user behavioural data tracking and own data products making data actionable across platforms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align on problems, opportunities, and delivery needs.
  • Act as domain expert, communicating data product strategy and evolution to product teams.
  • Define success metrics, KPIs, monitor performance, and drive improvements.
  • Create and execute go-to-market plans for large-scale products, incorporating user feedback.
  • Champion the product area in business review meetings.

Requirements

  • Multiple years as product manager developing products for internal customers.
  • Strong expertise in behavioural analytics, client-side/server-side event data on web, mobile, TV.
  • Hands-on experience in continuous product discovery and user research in ambiguous environments.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders including senior executives on strategy.
  • Experience using data for insights and product decisions.

  • Ability to simplify complex technical problems.
  • Experience partnering across teams for data product value.
