What you will do

• Act as technical customer advocate, partnering with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Support to deliver customer success.
• Design fit-for-purpose solutions and adoption roadmaps for hirify.global portfolio in Sub-Saharan Africa.
• Explain complex technical concepts simply, demonstrate ROI, and win against competitors.
• Maintain broad knowledge of Internet performance and security technologies amid rapid product innovation.
• Travel to customer offices, conferences (10-15 days per quarter).

Requirements

• Fluent English (written & spoken); Afrikaans a plus.
• 3-10 years IT industry experience (early or mid-level).
• Understanding of Internet fundamentals: TCP/UDP, authoritative/recursive DNS, firewalls, TLS/SSL, HTTP.
• Ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, prioritize demands.
• Empathy for customer challenges; knowledge of buying decisions and competitive landscape (DDoS, CDN, etc.).
• May require U.S. export control authorization without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Pre-sales SE or consulting experience.
• Scripting (Python, JavaScript, Bash).
• Zero Trust trends exposure.
