What you will do

• Own invoice, AP, and payment flows using Basecone, Pleo, and Rabobank.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate balance sheet records.
• Support month-end close processes, gradually taking ownership as functions move in-house.
• Manage finance inbox and resolve supplier/internal queries.
• Assist with VAT filings and financial compliance in Dutch context.
• Explore AI/automation to streamline repetitive tasks and improve operations.

Requirements

• 1–3 years in accounting/financial control (internship/traineeship/junior ok).
• BSc in Accounting & Control, Finance, Business Administration or similar.
• Comfortable owning AP, invoice processing, reconciliations.
• Structured, accurate, proactive; strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Understands VAT basics and Dutch financial compliance.
• Clear English communication (Dutch is a plus).

Nice to have

• Experience with Exact Online, Pleo, or Basecone.
• Interest in AI and automation for finance.
