Internal Auditor

TL;DR

Internal Auditor (Business & Technology): Conducting internal audits and reviews across business and IT processes to strengthen trust, integrity, and transparency within a global organization with an accent on risk management and control analysis. Focus on integrating AI and advanced analytics into audit workflows and collaborating with senior leadership on risk mitigation.

Location: Hybrid in Alphen aan den Rijn, Netherlands (other European locations may be considered).

What you will do

• Execute audits and reviews across business, IT, and industry-specific processes.
• Assist in planning the internal audit plan based on risks and business priorities.
• Analyze processes, data, and controls to provide insights to stakeholders.
• Adopt and innovate using AI and advanced technologies in audit practices.
• Collaborate with business leaders and senior management on risk mitigation.
• Develop deep expertise in specific audit focus areas.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any field (business or technology preferred).
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English (corporate language).
• Ability to work in an international environment.
• Strong ethical standards and integrity.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Netherlands or other European locations.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in audit or risk management.
• Knowledge of advanced analytics or AI tools.
• Additional language skills.
