What you will do

• Support and maintain Data Distributor, NOVA, and SD applications in the Core Deposits team.
• Modify existing COBOL programs for enhancements, fixes, and regulatory updates.
• Validate and distribute data to Hogan IDS via nightly batch processing.
• Develop and maintain JCL for batch jobs and production workflows.
• Perform testing, validation, production deployments, and support production issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, collaborate with product partners, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• W2 contract only, no C2C
• Strong COBOL development experience in mainframe environment (most critical).
• Extensive VSAM experience.
• Experience maintaining and enhancing legacy mainframe applications.
• Solid JCL understanding for batch processing.
• Experience in Agile environment.

• Banking/financial services experience, especially account/check numbers, deposit tracking, fraud.
• ServiceNow for incident/change/problem management.
• Batch-heavy overnight processing experience.
