What you will do

• Scope, design, develop, enhance, and integrate complex software components within the z/OS ecosystem.
• Modernize mainframe solutions while maximizing system resources and maintaining service efficiency.
• Investigate complex system issues as a tier-three troubleshooter, identify root causes, and implement fixes.
• Lead professional teams and multifunctional projects through planning and delivery.
• Advise other engineers as a subject matter expert and define tools or process improvements that increase team efficiency.
• Lead detailed code and design reviews and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Professional experience with IBM 360/370 architectures and MVS/SP.
• At least one year of professional experience with Assembler, PL/1 or PLX, C, and JCL.
• At least two years of formal software engineering experience focused on system or product design and integration.
• Process-oriented approach, strong accountability, and interest in low-level mainframe technologies.
