What you will do

• Develop and optimize high-throughput workflows for screening protein-protein interaction libraries.
• Build and execute in vitro and cell-based assay pipelines across yeast, phage, mRNA, ribosome, and mammalian display modalities.
• Design molecular biology and biochemistry frameworks for library construction, screening, and large-scale data generation.
• Establish robust, repeatable assays with statistical rigor for ML model training, evaluation, and optimization.
• Lead projects from experimental design through data delivery and improve throughput, data quality, repeatability, and workflow efficiency.
• Partner with ML and cross-functional teams to integrate experimental outputs and address complex technical challenges.

Requirements

• PhD in biochemistry, molecular biology, biophysics, synthetic biology, bioengineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated creativity in developing or substantially adapting experimental workflows.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while documenting processes and organizing physical and digital data.
• Comfort working with ambiguity and a fast-paced early-stage startup environment.

Nice to have

• Large-scale DNA library construction with more than 10^6 variants.
• Experience with display platforms, flow cytometry, or FACS.
• Binding kinetic measurements such as SPR, BLI, or ELISA.
• Next-generation sequencing library preparation, quality control, and bioinformatic analysis.
• High-throughput data analysis, Python or R scripting, statistical experimental design, or laboratory automation.
