Scientist II, High Throughput Biology (AI)

Salary: $124,000–$155,000 annually, plus bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and optimize biochemical, molecular, and cell-based assays for high-throughput screening platforms.
• Scale screening strategies for binder discovery in mammalian systems.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and develop new experimental workflows for drug discovery.
• Build and optimize automated workflows focused on data quality, reproducibility, and process efficiency.
• Partner with drug discovery, computational biology, and AI-based protein design teams to analyze and communicate screening insights.
• Manage multiple projects, maintain experimental records, and contribute to scientific presentations.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in immunology, molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, functional genomics, or a related field, with 2–4 years of postdoctoral or industry experience.
• Recent Ph.D. graduates and candidates with fewer years of experience may be considered at an adjusted level.
• Proficiency in molecular biology techniques, complex library construction, flow cytometry, and cell line engineering.
• Experience with pooled screening and NGS-based readouts, including library preparation and sequencing quality control.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, data analysis, visualization, and statistical skills using tools such as GraphPad Prism, R, or Python.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work across interdisciplinary teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-throughput antibody display technologies, including yeast, phage, or mammalian display.
• Familiarity with single-cell genomics workflows such as scRNA-seq, barcoded assays, or multiplexed assays.
