Rural Manager (Agribusiness Banking): Manage a portfolio of rural clients in accordance with bank goals for profitability, client satisfaction, and credit quality with an accent on relationship building, innovative value-add, and business growth. Focus on leveraging community and business networks to expand client base and support farmers in maintaining and growing their businesses for future succession.

Location: Onsite in Ingham, Australia. Must hold valid work rights in Australia. Residing in Ingham or surrounds preferred, or willing to relocate (relocation allowance and support available).

What you will do

  • Manage a portfolio of rural clients, driving profitability, satisfaction, and credit quality.
  • Build and grow client base using advocacy, community, and business networks.
  • Provide value-add through innovative ideas and passion for the rural sector.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support existing and new clients.
  • Help local farmers maintain, grow their businesses, and plan for succession.

Requirements

  • Experience in banking (agri preferred), account management, or similar rural role.
  • Farming or agriculture experience with career transition into agribusiness banking accepted.
  • Proven portfolio building, maintenance, and growth skills.
  • High levels of customer service achievement.
  • Credit and financial analysis skills.
  • Passion for success and making a difference in regional Australia.
  • Well-connected in Ingham community or willing to relocate.
